DAN WHEELER, ASSET MANAGEMENT

Dan Wheeler is currently responsible for managing and overseeing operations and special projects for clients of Highwater Management.

Originally from Reading, Pennsylvania, Dan attended Mulhenberg High School, graduating in 1997.  His experience in food service began early, with a position as Kitchen Manager for a chain restaurant in Pennsylvania.  Dan was promoted to General Manager, and eventually was transferred to  Dover, Delaware.  He remained in this role for seven years, learning all aspects of the corporate restaurant industry on a operational level, while gaining experience in customer service.

After maximizing all the knowledge that he could, Dan left the corporate restaurant chain to become a General Manager for a restaurant in Lewes, Delaware - a 350-seat location with a full bar where he was also able to gain extensive banquet experience.

Dan then moved on to SoDel Concepts, working for Highwater Management, and what is now known as Haley Kammerer Restaurant Consulting, in the spring of 2010 where he worked as a restaurant management consultant.

Dan was also charged with overseeing all concessions services at the Sports at the Beach Complex in Georgetown, Delaware, which has quickly grown to become the elite sports tournament site in the Mid-Atlantic region. The facility serves over 10,000 kids, coaches and parents from all over the country, showcasing six baseball fields on 95 acres, including a pool, playground, basketball court, gift shop, on-site dormitories to house the teams, and a petting zoo with additional outdoor activities.

In 2017, SoDel Concepts and Highwater Management became the concession company for The Delaware Turf, a 12 field complex that serves teams throughout the mid-east region and beyond. The same year, SoDel Concepts took over the concessions and food service at Dover Motor Sports for the two annual NASCAR events. Dan oversees concession operations for all three locations.

Dan currently lives in Lincoln, Delaware with his wife Lisa and their three children.  He strives to consistently protect the integrity of the Highwater name and company by leading as an example of stellar management, while ensuring complete guest satisfaction at all times
