LIZ GUILLORN , TRAINING
Liz was born and raised in a small town in New Jersey before attending the New York Institute of Technology on Long Island. Originally studying architecture, she quickly realized the mostly desk life wasn’t for her, and her free-spirited nature led her toward a more hands on career path.
She began working in hospitality as a teenager and continued serving and bartending as she moved around the country. Over the years, Liz grew into management, event planning, and system development, with a strong focus on teamwork and people centered service.
Liz joined SoDel Concepts in 2018 as a server at Lupo, where she developed a deeper interest in excellent wine, innovative food, and structured team service. During her time with the company, she earned a Cicerone Certified Beer Server certification along with WSET 1 & 2.
Liz began working with the training department, supporting restaurants across the company through coaching, education, and hands on system implementation. In 2023, she joined the Surf Bagel team, proudly serving the best bagels around, where she expanded her leadership experience across both front and back of house operations.
In early 2026, Liz returned to training & development as a Training Manager with Highwater Management.
She currently lives in Milton, Delaware with her son Will and their very selective cat, Snuffles.
